Ask me anything about selling at markets
Everything here is answered by a person eventually — me. Below are the three fastest routes, in the order I’d use them.
Fastest
Show me what you’ve got
Fifteen minutes, free, no pitch. Bring your link or a photo of your table and I’ll tell you what I’d change first. This is the one I’d pick if your question is “what should I do?” rather than “how does X work?”

Ask the other vendors
Market Ready has two threads where members post their actual setups and their Saturday numbers. For anything that starts “has anyone tried…”, people who stood at a table last weekend beat me.

Most of what people email me is already written down, at length, for nothing. Start with the playbook — Part 3 costs no money and no setup and works at your next market.
Start here if you’re new
Three short pages that explain what this is and how it works, with nothing to buy on any of them.
01
What this actually is
The problem it addresses, the five parts by name, what it never touches, and who’s behind it.
02
What’s free and what isn’t
The line drawn in one place: the instructions are free, the intel and a read on your own work are not.
03
How the room works day to day
What actually happens after you join, the three places you’ll spend time, and what cancelling looks like.
The questions I actually get
Do I have to move off Square / Etsy / Shopify?
No, and I’d rather you didn’t. Everything here goes onto whatever you already use. If you already take cards with a Square reader, Square’s online store is free and shares your customer list — that’s often the fastest route to a working link.
What does it cost to start?
Nothing. The playbook, the sign pack and the brand board builder are free and stay free. You’ll need a platform (~$0–39/month) and an email tool (free at the size you’ll be for a long while) only when you get to the parts that need them.
What’s the difference between free and the $9 room?
Free tells you what to do, in full. The room is the two things that can’t be written down once: what’s converting this month across the other vendors, and somebody looking at your own sign, link and emails.
The full comparisonI’m not technical. Is this for me?
Parts 2 and 3 need no technology at all — a printed sign and a sentence you say out loud. If the rest is the problem rather than the idea, that’s what the done-for-you build is for.
Can I just have someone look at my setup?
Two ways. Inside the $9 room, post it in Show me your table and I’ll tell you where the trail goes cold — public thread, one thing at a time, when I get to it. Or the Table Teardown at $249 is a private hour on all of it with an ordered fix list in writing afterwards.
How long does the done-for-you build take?
Live within a week of you filling in the intake form, and built by me rather than outsourced — which is also why I can only take a few at a time.
What’s includedMy market is tiny. Is it worth it?
Maybe not, and the playbook’s calculator will tell you. If it comes out under about $800 a season, do the ten-minute version of each part and spend nothing. I’d rather tell you that than sell you something.
Something’s broken / I didn’t get my email
Check spam first, then email me and I’ll send it straight over. Replies to any of my emails come directly to me — there’s no ticket queue.
Can I cancel the $9?
Two clicks, any time, and nothing you printed or built stops working. The free tools stay free whether you ever join or not.
Still stuck?
Tell me what you sell and what you’re stuck on. It comes straight to me and I read all of them.
