Who this is for

If you sell from a table, this is for you.

Farmers markets, craft fairs, festivals, holiday markets, car boots, food trucks, pop-ups in someone else's shop. The mechanics don't change — swap "market" for whatever you do and every part of it still works.

This is for you if…

  • You sell out, or turn people away, and have nowhere to send them.
  • People ask "do you ship?" and the answer is no, or "sort of".
  • You've collected email addresses and never written to them.
  • Your business lives on one table for six hours a week.
  • Somebody asked about wholesale once and you didn't know what to send.
  • Your Saturday is good and Tuesday is nothing.

This probably isn't for you if…

  • You already have a shop that takes pre-orders and a list you write to regularly. You've done this.
  • You sell out early because you deliberately make a small batch and that's the business. Nothing to fix.
  • Your bottleneck is production, not demand. More orders would be a problem, not a win.
  • You're looking for help getting more foot traffic to the market itself. That's a different job.

I'd rather say that here than take your money and tell you afterwards.

What this doesn't touch

Your product, your recipe, your prices, your suppliers, how you set up, who you talk to, or how you run market day. That part is yours and it already works — it's why people clear your table in the first place.

All of this is about the part that happens after someone walks away: where they go, how they reach you on a Tuesday, and whether you ever hear from them again.

Not sure whether it applies to you?

The playbook has a calculator in it. Put in three honest guesses about your own Saturday and it works out roughly what walks away in a season — and then tells you what I'd actually do about that number, including when the answer is "nothing, spend nothing".
